Ribbon Cuttings & Grand Openings

Whether you're opening a new business, moving to a new location, expanding, or celebrating a milestone, the North Brunswick Chamber of Commerce offers ribbon cutting ceremonies to recognize the moment.

Eligible Occasions:

  • New Business
  • New Location
  • Major Expansion
  • New Ownership
  • Milestone Anniversary (5, 10, 15+ years)

Planning Information:

  • Ribbon cuttings are scheduled on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays
  • A minimum of three weeks’ notice is required
  • You’ll be asked to indicate whether you plan to serve refreshments or offer specials/giveaways

What the Chamber Provides:

  • Listing of your event in our weekly newsletter
  • Ceremonial red ribbon and gold scissors
  • Photo taken at your event
  • Photo shared on the Chamber’s social media platforms

Best Practices:

  • Coordinate with individuals whose attendance is important to you
  • Invite colleagues, customers, neighbors, and friends
  • Promote the event through your own channels
  • You must be a current Chamber member to schedule a ribbon cutting
